Our History

From Allen’s Clam Bar to Breezes Dock Bar and Grill 

It all started with Allen’s Clam Bar in the 1960s, but we didn’t stop there. In 2010, Winfield Allen Jr. teamed up with Viking Yachts to create something new: a casual bar and restaurant right on the marina, just down the street from Allen’s Clam Bar.

What began as a small spot with four tables, a few bar seats, and a screened-in porch quickly became a local favorite.

Resilience and Renewal

In 2012, Hurricane Sandy devastated the property. The damage was extensive, but we rebuilt, repaired, and returned better than ever.

Since then, Breezes has been expanding and evolving each year to create an unforgettable waterfront experience.

Bigger, Better, and Always Breezy

2017: We introduced The Original Can, our first outdoor bar.
2022: We upgraded to The Can, a new version with more seating and a spacious bar setup.
2023: A new food truck doubled our kitchen capacity and a lower deck was added for even more outdoor space.

Today, Breezes offers:
